Your information
Privacy policy
This policy describes how Planet Racer Native (Planet Racer), developed by Pedro Carena, handles information in the iPhone game and on this support website. Contact: pcarena@paginar.net.
Game data on your device
The game stores your career names, progress, cars and equipment, in-game currency, local best scores, and settings in its local app storage. This information lets you resume play and keep your preferences. The game does not upload these saves to a developer-operated server and does not require an account.
Your device’s backup and restore settings may include app data in Apple-managed backups. Those backups are controlled by you and Apple, rather than by the developer.
Nearby multiplayer
If you choose nearby play, the app uses local-network and nearby-device discovery to find and connect players. Discovery makes room and connection identifiers visible to nearby devices; a join request also shares a racer name with the host. The host can approve or decline the request.
Connected players exchange racer names, temporary player and session identifiers, selected car and equipment data, course information, readiness, driving inputs, timing and synchronization data, race results, and ghost/replay data needed to run and compare races. These exchanges go directly between participating devices rather than through a developer-operated game server. Avoid using personal information in your racer name.
Multiplayer race and ghost data are held for the session in the current version. The developer does not receive or keep a server copy. Other players can see shared names and results and could independently capture them. You can leave a room or stop nearby play; Local Network permission can also be changed in iOS Settings.
Tilt steering
If you use Tilt steering, the game processes device-motion readings on your device to calculate steering input. It does not upload raw motion readings to the developer. In multiplayer, the resulting driving input is shared with the other player as part of the race.
Purchases
Apple handles any in-app purchase and payment. The game uses StoreKit purchase and entitlement information to check and restore the planet unlock. The developer does not receive your payment-card details. Apple processes purchase and store information under Apple’s privacy policy.
Advertising, tracking & analytics
The game does not include advertising, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking. It does not access your contacts, photos, microphone, or precise location. Apple may process App Store, TestFlight, crash, or diagnostic information according to your Apple settings and its own policies; any reports Apple makes available to the developer are used to investigate problems and improve the game.
When you contact support
If you email support, the developer receives your email address and the information and attachments you choose to send. This information is used to respond, troubleshoot, and follow up on your request. It is retained only as needed for those purposes or applicable legal obligations, and is processed by the email services used to deliver and store the correspondence. Do not send passwords or payment details.
This website
These static pages are hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The site does not add analytics scripts, advertising, forms, or tracking cookies. Cloudflare processes connection information, such as IP addresses and request metadata, to deliver and protect the website under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Following an external link or sending an email uses the relevant service’s own privacy practices.
Retention, deletion & your choices
Local career data remains until you delete the career or remove the app’s data. Removing the app can also remove settings and local scores; do not uninstall as a troubleshooting step without considering your progress. Backups may retain earlier copies according to your backup settings. Deleting local data does not cancel or erase Apple’s purchase records.
The developer cannot remotely access or delete saves on your device. To request access, correction, or deletion of support correspondence or other information the developer holds about you, email pcarena@paginar.net. Rights available to you depend on your location; requests will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
Children
The game does not ask for a date of birth or knowingly collect children’s personal information through a developer-operated game service. Nearby names are visible to other players, so use a nickname. If you believe a child has supplied personal information to support, contact the developer to request its removal.
Policy updates
Changes to this policy will be published here with an updated effective date. Contact pcarena@paginar.net if you have questions.
